Attention Busy Parents! Give your kids an unforgettable holiday experience with our collection of themed dance workshops at Paradox Dance Studio!
Watch your little ones shine as they dive into the enchanting world of dance with our exclusive holiday workshops, specially designed for children aged 5-9 years old.
Let them make a splash with our “Little Mermaid” workshop, where they’ll learn graceful underwater moves and feel like they’re part of Ariel’s world.
Or join our magical “Frozen” workshop, where they’ll discover their inner Elsa or Olaf, swirling and twirling to the iconic songs from the movie.
Our Reggaeton classes are available as casual class drop ins or are included in your memberships. You can either buy once off $22 casual Classes or choose from our 5 or 10 class packs. If you are visiting the studio multiple times a week you might benefit from a $45/week unlimited class pass. For more information on our pricing with memberships and courses please visit our Pricing page so you can decide what is best for you. As we are an Arts small business, we don’t offer refunds or credits for no shows or illness.
Our classes are structured to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Each class begins with a warm-up and includes a combination of drills to learn specific moves and a basic choreography to connect the drills to music. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each step and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to practise and perfect your moves.
We dance to a variety of upbeat reggaeton, Latin and hip hop music – think Daddy Yankee, J Balvin that sort of thing! Our music selection is carefully curated to keep you motivated and inspired on the dance floor. If you would like a sample of the type of music we listen to, here is a link to some of our favourite Spotify playlists!
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, such as activewear or shorts and a t-shirt. Most people will wear something that makes them feel confident and comfortable so whatever that may look like for you is great.
You don’t need to buy dance shoes in order to dance Reggaeton! Authentic Reggaeton is danced in whatever you have on your feet at the time, but shoes with a low heel/platform and minimal grip are recommended. You don’t want a shoe that will prevent your spins with a grippy sole and potentially cause injuries to your knees and ankles long term.
