We have both beginner class and intermediate Timba classes available that will give you a chance to learn the basics of this exciting dance style, develop your technique and unleash your inner salsera or salsero. Timba is a fast-paced, energetic dance that is designed to challenge you, but with the right guidance, you’ll be able to master its signature moves and become a confident, expressive dancer.
In our Timba classes, you’ll learn the basics of this exciting dance style, including the signature moves and grooves that make Timba so popular. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, such as activewear or shorts and a t-shirt.
You don’t need to buy dance shoes to dance Timba! It is most commonly danced in soft-soled shoes such as sneakers or flats. However, for your comfort, we recommend wearing shoes with a low platform and minimal grip to prevent any injuries and make any spins easier.
Whether you’re looking to improve your dance skills, make new friends, or simply have a good time, our classes have something for everyone. We can’t wait to see you on the dance floor!
