About Us
At YCV Dance Studios is an International Urban Street Dance Hub, we specialise in street dance from around the world as well as having a strong focus on technique, especially in our kids programs offering jazz, contemporary, acro and street dance - ycv style.
Our fun open community is a place where anyone is welcomed and encouraged to learn and grow as a dancer.
It is our moto that 'Knowledge Is Power' therefore we strive to offer versatile styles of dance ranging from Afro Hip Hop to Urban Contemporary taught by Yasim Coronado Veranes and our talented team of Tutors.
We also offer performance courses and competition teams, join our successful teams for long lasting friendships and memories.
We recently won 2nd place for reggaeton teams at world salsa solo and 2nd and 3rd place at World Of Dance competition.

REGULAR TEACHERS
Yasim Coronado Veranes
Owner and Director
Yasim has over 15 years experience as a professional dancer and choreographer. Yasim has had an amazing career seeing him tour the world as Dancer and Acrobat for Cuba's Ballet Revolucion.
Yasim specialises in Cuban, Reggaeton and Afro Styles fusing them with modern urban styles of dance. He is a technically trained Contemporary dancer, this training shines through in all his classes.

Amalina is our Dancehall specialist, She has the biggest passion and dedication to teaching authentic true to its culture Dancehall.
Amalina is Brisbane's only Dancehall teacher.
OZZY DINAMIT
OUR VERY OWN LATINA straight outta Venezuela, Ozzy's is known for her twerking skills having danced as a professional dancer in Venezuela staring in numerous music videos and live shows, she is also our amazing GIRLY Reggaeton teacher giving our ladies confidence to feel sexy!!
Cherie
Cherie is our Samba Queen, previously dancing for the best entertainment company in australia The Rio Project where only the best Samba dancers are hired. Cherie has danced professionally as a Latin Dancer for the past 6 years in Sydney.
Louise Rodrigues
Louise has been dancing and teaching professionally for 14 years. Some of her achievements are, placing 1st place at HHI Australia then going to compete at Worlds in Las Vagas 2014. Performing professionally as an international artist in Egypt, Soloman Islands and PNG. Opened for Snoop Dog, Guy Sabastian and EVE. Member of the Pro Cheer Squad, Silver Bullets. Louise has also made many appearances on your TV screens dancing in film clips, TV Show and at major sports events.
Reggie
Our lovely Reggie brings latin flavor to our Salsa styles, Rueda and Cuban Salsa (partnered) His infection energy and lively classes will have you falling in love with all styles Salsa!
Reggie, fonts our Casino and Rueda 6 week courses, once you do one class with him, you'll be begging for more!
